Problem with TinyMCE

Postby krzyche » Sat Mar 09, 2013 11:10 am

Hello,
I love the idea of eFront and I thought I create online lessons. But, unfortunately tinymce on lesson creator doesn't work.

As you see nothing appers. When I click on Toggle editor/html mode nothing happens.
I upload eFront on server keed.pl and also to 000.webhost.com Each time TinyMce doesn't work.
When I check on the eFront demo version on http://demo.efrontlearning.net/ and logged in as trainer, tinyMCE works perfectly FINE. So the problem is not with my browser (Google Chrome Version 25.0.1364.152 m)

How can this be solved? Please help me! ;)

Go to www\editor\tiny_mce_new and delete any .gz files, do a "hard refresh" on your browser and try again :)

I look on the folder you specified but no files *.gz are in this folder.
The only files present in the folder I listed below.

I added a Test.html file on public_html of my website. In this file I added fully featured example from http://www.tinymce.com/tryit/full.php. I then swap file path in the code to this <script type="text/javascript" src="/www/editor/tiny_mce_new/tiny_mce.js"></script>. And I tested it.
Result is like below:

It works, but only in test file.
How to make it works in the lessons??

Perhaps there are no write permissions for the web server inside the www/js folder?
Do you get any javascript errors in your browser's console (press F12 to see it)?

Some shared - or free - hosting companies add a tracking code to the web site index page. When this tracking code is enabled, some CMS and LMSs (for example e107, Dokeos and efront) will not display the TinyMCE editor. Therefore, it is essential that this tracking code is disabled. For instance, 000webhost.com users can go to http://members.000webhost.com/analytics.php and disable the code.
