eFront 3.6.1 build 6235 now available

Greetings to the community!
a new release of eFront is now available, 3.6.1 build 6235. This is mainly a maintenance release, addressing issues that have come up since the last release. It also adds a few new features (see the changelog below). There is also a patch available, with only the changed files

We call this 3.6.1 because there is a small change to the database, which enforces an upgrade (rather than simply extracting new files on top of the old ones). So, please follow the upgrade process as described in UPGRADE.txt (online version)
Users of our non free versions may use the automatic upgrade option

Below follows the changelog for this version. Check also the attached diff for the changes the language files (there are no changes in the css file)

- Fixed issue in lesson certificate module about issueCertificate
- Fixed issue about loading tabs in group reporting

Make sure you don't miss 2 new functions in this version:

a) Admin->Maintenance->Autologin. This new tab allows to select the users that may autologin to the system via a simple link. Useful for guest users but there are many others uses as well.

b) Admin->Settings->Default user type. This option determines the user-type of all newly registered users. Currently this was forced to student but in many cases you may want to auto-assign (for example) a subtype of student to new users.

Now that the process for releasing updates every 2 weeks is perfected, perhaps a process by which the demo sites can be refreshed to match the currently available build (or even a SVN demo site potentially). Current the demo sites are still running build 5751.

Youthful you are correct about mentioning course instances for 3.6.1.
However due to the database change we had to name the current version 3.6.1 so the course instances will be part of 3.6.2.
I will make the related changes on the roadmap. Course instances is a big change and we work in in parallel with the minor changes so you will see a several changes when it will be released.
