Hello there,

The module is very interesting and works well.
Note that there is a problem on the zipping you used that will not allow other people to install it.
I attach here the module with this small fix.

We wil add it on the modules page later this week.

As a general question what does the "Improve language file" ?

Take care,
A.P

I'm glad to hear that. I did not understand what was the problem of zip file!

"Improve language file" as I have explained in a short hint, compares the two files and removes invalid terms(lines) in the target file. In addition it causes the file be sorted.

By using the module, there is no need to have english translates as a comment on each file any more. So the module removes that comments too.

Hello mkhahani,

very good job. Papagel means that you have zipped the folder module_translator instead the files of this.
eFront expects a zip file that includes xml file directly when unzipped and not inside a folder.

I will upload it in your website. You can tell us your full name to mention you in this page if you want.

Thank you very much for the contribution.

Regards,
Michael.

Keep in mind that you have to back up languages folder before any upgrade that will overwrite your changes.
It could be an extension to allow you to edit possible custom language files too.

Hello again :),

I found a small problem. When user enters a double quote (") in a translation field, it should be escaped with a backslash (\")
because it will result to a crashed page for this language. Is it easy to be applied?

Thank you.

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your comments.
About the double quote, I'm not sure. I will check it later.

The bug with quotes was fixed. A new version of the module was attached.

Many thank to Michael for reporting the bug.

As makriria mentioned:

Is it possible to 'Save as' the edited languange into custom language name?
Two thumbs up for you ;)

Thank you Yudi.

Actually I have no decision to remain on eFront. Although it is a good e-Learning system. But I just do a little try and I hope the module be extended by others.

Nice to meet you guys.
