eFront 3.5.0 beta 1 released

We are proud to announce the availability of eFront 3.5.0 beta1. You are all very welcome to download it and give it a try!
This is a milestone version (hence the leap from 3.1.x to 3.5).
Key features are:
- 3.5.0 is at a large part rewritten from scratch, in order to take full advantage of PHP5's Object Oriented features. So, 3.5.0 is based on a new, robust, Object Oriented API which enables for far more stability and extensibility
- There is no need to set up the document root anymore; just unzip the files in a folder at your web server, and you can instantly access eFront installation script
- Speed is by all means improved, both at server and client, and so is security.

Upgrading from 3.1.x is possible, but is not guaranteed to work correctly for all installations. So, before trying it, don't forget to backup

3.5 is not just a n upgrade as periklis suggested, is a whole new system actually with rewritten Object Oriented core, improved interface, extended AJAX usage and capable to deal with large number of lesson, users and content. Also, it integrates a payment system and at its final version it will integrate a state-of-the art modules subsystem. Moreover, now it can be installed on any standard host (via relative paths).

So, play with it and suggest improvements/pinpoint bugs - we are here to build the best open-source elearning system

Great system Looks very nice and not so complicated as OLAT. But I found 4 bugs. One of them prevents correct assignment of professors to lessons. I added the bugs to JIRA.
